When young I did see the animation for the series. The main actor is relatively weak, but the background context for the story and those giant sizes are not from earth species and make use of them to defend and fight against each other, and in the end, the world ends.

Then a couple years later, reboot and remake it for the movie, a different content but the theme remains, but due to it being a movie, it takes relatively longer for each part to be released. Overall, it becomes one of the stories and its design is relatively unique and with style, like it.

The final film of the "Rebuild series", titled Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, was originally scheduled for release in June 2020 but has been delayed due to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic. Wait to see how the 1990s story finally draw to the end.
